TIMELINE OF EVENTS 1990-1999
1990
- December – The move completed from the old hall to the new and ex Pavilion of Promise building.
1992
- September – The recovered and preserved Porpoise anchor was presented to QMM by the Queensland Museum. It originated from their expedition to Wreck Reef off Gladstone.
- 21 October – Qld Heritage listing of South Brisbane Dry Dock.
1994
- 19 June – The previous EXPO site converted to the South Bank Parklands was opened.
- The small Jones Mobile Crane was donated by the RAN after the closure of HMAS Moreton at New Farm.
1995
- September – ST Forceful slipped.




1996
- Mid year – The model of the 1911 built Moreton Bay Pile Light is loaned to QMM from the Queensland Museum. For many years it was on display at the old Museum building at O’Connell Terrace, Bowen Hills Brisbane.
1998
- 11-12 April – QMMA holds a Maritime Festival on the grounds from 10:00 AM to 5:00 PM with 58 exhibitors.
- 5 October – South Brisbane Dry Dock Caisson fails.
1999
- Goodwill Bridge completed.
