A voluntary organisation like the Queensland Maritime Museum and its collection can not exist without the involvement of the public and the support of interested businesses.
The Queensland Maritime Museum Association invites all to join our group of dedicated workers. No matter what your skills, we have a place for you at the Museum.
It is our aim to promote interest in and knowledge of maritime history, preserve historical artifacts and display them for the benefit of the public. This also includes the preservation of vessels such as the ex HMAS Diamantina, Australia’s largest surviving World War 2 vessel, the lightship Carpentaria and the dock itself.
