Working Toward Reopening at QMM
QMM will reopen as soon as possible

If you were thinking that everything about the novel coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic and our State’s responses to it was changing faster than you can keep up with, you aren’t alone.

Last week’s Board meeting reviewed Queensland Maritime Museum’s actions that have been implemented during our closure to date, and Directors and employees discussed the way forward to reopening our museum. We were, of course, working with the information at hand then. However, today Stage 2 restrictions have been moved forward from the original 12 June date.
