An update regarding Queensland Maritime Museum and COVID-19
Dear Volunteers, Members, and Visitors to our Queensland Maritime Museum,
I am writing to provide an update regarding our Museum and COVID-19. In recent weeks we have put in place some precautionary measures to ensure the health and safety of our community. AMMC’s upcoming national workshop at QMM has been postponed, as has the first of our Public Talk Series for 2020. Additionally, today Twilight Jazz by the River (co-hosted with BCC’s Bands in the Parks program), has also been cancelled. While we remain open at present we have made the decision to temporarily suspend public programming from Tuesday 17 March for an initial period of two weeks.
