The Queensland Maritime Museum is close to the Brisbane CBD in the South Bank Parklands and is easily accessible to all modes of transport.

An underground car park is available in the South Bank Parklands, with a 5 minute walk to the Museum.

Frequent bus services to numerous Brisbane southern and south-eastern destinations pass the Museum. Disembark at Mater Hill or South Bank bus stops.

Trains on the Beenleigh and Cleveland lines also pass the Museum. Disembark at South Bank Station.

Ferry services run from the City and many suburbs along the Brisbane River. The Museum is within close walking distance of City Cat ferry terminals and the City Hopper ferry terminals.

The Museum is at the southern end of the South Bank Parklands at the Goodwill Bridge and is within easy walking distance of CBD venues.

Visitors staying in City accommodation may like to enjoy a leisurely walk from the City, through the Queensland University of Technology and across the Brisbane River on the pedestrian only Goodwill Bridge.
