The Queensland Maritime Museum will live-stream its VP Day 75th Anniversary Commemoration via Facebook Live on Sunday 25 October from 10am AEST.
Everyone is encouraged to join us to mark 75 years since the end of World War Two, as well as the role of HMAS Diamantina in the final year of the War in the Pacific.
This service forms part of our legacy project to collect the stories of the ship and its crews, funded under the Commonwealth Government’s Saluting Their Service Commemorative Grants Program through the Department of Veterans Affairs.
