Liam Conor is an exciting young trumpet player from Brisbane. Currently studying his Bachelor of Music in Jazz Performance at the Jazz Music Institute, Liam is deeply passionate about jazz music and this comes through in his playing. Mentored by Dan Quigley and influenced by the great musicians in the past such as Lee Morgan, Chet Baker and Miles Davis, Liam has been honing his craft performing music from the bebop and hardbop eras in the 50s and 60s.
Kick back and watch the sun set over the Brisbane River from this beautiful vantage point near the Goodwill Bridge. Before the city warms up to Friday evening, take some time to enjoy chilled jazz after work at the Maritime Museum with music by Jazz Music Institute.
