Sunday 21 July 2019 – 9:30am to 3:00pm
Six American car clubs will roll their beautifully restored vehicles into the Queensland Maritime Museum for this special day.
The Museum has strong American connections, and was home-base for American submarines in WW2. Hundreds of ships were repaired and serviced in the Dry Dock before returning to the battles in the Pacific. We also hold in our collection the dinghy used by General Douglas McArthur.
This is an opportunity to get up close and personal with these magnificently presented vehicles and chat to their owners. The American cultural attache, Ms Ginny Guyomar will judge the best American style picnic lunch.
Admission is included with museum entry.
