The Museum is registered with the Australian Government under the Cultural Gifts Program and is a Deductible Gift Recipient. Our Collection Management Policy provides policy guidelines for the donation of objects, documents and artifacts to the Museum. The Museum welcomes offers of donations and assesses all offers in accordance with the Policy. A tax deductible receipt is issued for financial donations.

A bequest to the Museum of a part or all of your estate, objects or collections which you presently enjoy (including items for inclusion in the library/photograph collections) would be graciously received. Financial gifts are welcomed and can be allocated to specific projects at the request of the donor and with the agreement of the Board of Directors. All bequests would be publicly identified, with consent, and naming rights may be considered appropriate.

The attached information gives some guidelines for making gifts and options on how these gifts may be given. Contact the Management of the Museum to discuss your wishes regarding a bequest by on phone 07 3844 5361, facsimile 07 3846 1924 or by emailing ceo@maritimemuseum.com.au.

The Board of Directors thanks all donors for their generous support of the objectives of the Museum.
