Once again, the Queensland Maritime Museum conducted the Historical Walking Tour around the historic areas of South Brisbane.

On Sunday May 21 and a perfect, brisk Autumn morning, the participants were led off by the three QMM Volunteer Guides to complete the 90 minute walking tour.

The group stopped to admire the Trotter Pelican Sculpture, built using car and outboard parts. It is on one of the remaining Coal Wharf Crane bases and was completed in 1998.

On completion of the tour, some of the group participated in the included free entry to the Museum as well as the discounted lunch at the nearby 123 year Old Ship Inn.

The next tour is on Sunday June 18 and followed by the Sundays of July 16 and August 13.
